By Car

Follow the map to Oakfield Farm via Manor Road, Church Hill, Margard's Lane and Horton Way.

The roads from Verwood and Three Legged Cross will be sign-posted with distinctive black-on-yellow signs with W and an arrow, as shown above. If you go wrong, head for the Monmouth Ash pub and look for signs from there.

Warning: If you are approaching Verwood on the B3081 from the direction the A354, do not follow the directions given by Google Maps and turn right onto Dewlands Road (shortly after The Albion Inn) as this road is very narrow, with deep holes and tight turns. Instead, continue to the roundabout and take the 3rd exit onto Home Farm Road (B3072) which will be signposted for The Wail.
